LOST IN WONDERLAND

"Lost in Wonderland" by Amber Elliott is a journal-style narrative about a woman's journey of self-discovery in a fantastical realm. The protagonist, feeling lost in her real life, enters Wonderland and, guided by a French bulldog named Finley, confronts her inner struggles and past traumas.

Through symbolic locations like the Whispering Woods, Lake of Reflection, and Maze of Mirrors, she addresses self-doubt, family issues, and past mistakes. She meets eccentric characters like Bo Thatcher, who helps her embrace imperfection and self-trust. A powerful confrontation with the Shadow Queen, who is revealed to be a reflection of her own darkest fears and unresolved rage, forces the protagonist to choose self-acceptance over destructive power. The journey culminates in her reuniting with and embracing her younger, abandoned self, signifying a complete inner transformation. Ultimately, she realizes Wonderland is a part of herself, and she is ready to build a new life filled with love and wonder for her future daughter.
